• Q. How do I find information about the Employee Assistance Program?
  
  A. The State of Delaware's Employee Assistance (EAP) and Work/Life program is administered by HMS. If you are enrolled in a non-Medicare medical program sponsored by the State of Delaware, you may call HMS toll-free at (800) 343-2186, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This program is a confidential benefit, paid for by the State of Delaware, as a resource to help members successfully manage temporary setbacks in life. Eligible members may receive an assessment and/or up to 5 counseling sessions per issue. If you require additional counseling sessions, HMS will coordinate the additional care with a participating provider from your health care carrier. (It is the member's responsibility to make certain the guidelines of the health care plan are followed). Additional information on the program is displayed on our website and at HMS' website.
