• Q. How do I know what benefits are covered under the medical program in which I am enrolled?
  
  A. Shortly after your enrollment in a State of Delaware sponsored medical program, a Summary Plan Description (SPD) will be mailed to your home by either Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware (BCBSD) or Aetna.  Effective 7/1/2007, the State of Delaware sponsors four (4) medical programs and each medical program has its own SPD. If you are unable to locate your SPD, please contact your agency’s Human Resources Department or contact your carrier directly to request a duplicate SPD. A complete copy of each SPD is on display on our website.
